In a re-arranged fixture at the Utility Renewals Stadium, the M65 derby was goalless at the break. But within six minutes of the second half starting, the visitors broke the deadlock when Ali Waddecar won possession on the right, played the ball square to Brad Carsley who smashed the ball past the keep from 20 yards.
Waddecar then stepped up and curled home a free-kick around the wall on 65 minutes after Danny Forbes was fouled on the edge of the box before playing in Dan Mooney ten minutes later to power home a header and put the game beyond doubt.
