The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League is set to be showcased on a new fly-on-the-wall TV documentary following Manchester United legends Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Gary and Phil Neville as they set about transforming Salford City.

The First Division North club and the league can look forward to being exposed to millions when a three-part mini series on the Class of '92's takeover at Moor Lane is aired on BBC One later this year.

Given the working title `Salford Dreams United', filming is already underway charting the efforts of the five treble winners, pictured, after they started work on achieving their aim of taking the Ammies to the Premier League within 15 years as a community led club.

The Radio Times says the series will feature interviews with the stars as well as behind the scenes footage as they get to know the club's fans, players and officials and work on plans to renovate Moor Lane with new toilets and clubhouse.

BBC1 controller Charlotte Moore said: "It’s a real coup to give BBC One viewers such extraordinary access through this new documentary series that will follow the story of these famous ex-Manchester United players and football heroes.

"It’s a window into a passionate local community as this club has a chance to be part of a bigger playing field and realise their dreams."
