Two midweek games in the NPL

Atherton Collieries take on Ashton United looking make it three games unbeaten after being held to a draw to Stafford Rangers a little over a week ago.

A win over Ashton would help propel Colls into the top half of the table.

Travelling Ashton will be hoping to reduce the gap between the two sides which currently stands at nine points.

The Robins are also coming off a game in which the honours were shared after a tough clash away to Nantwich Town.

The last time the two sides met The Robins knocked the Colls out of the FA trophy third qualifying round back in October with a simple 1-0 victory.

A goal from Osebi Abadaki was enough to see The Colls crash out of the cup and the Robins will be looking to replicate this victory in the League to climb up the table.

Elsewhere, Lancaster City will host Grantham Town who find themselves bottom of the Northern Premier League table.

The Dolly Blues are coming off a 2-1 win against Radcliffe Borough.

Lancaster have enjoyed a decent start to 2022 losing only one game out of four in January.

New signing Curtis Anderson has been cleared to play after arriving from Wycombe Wanderers.

Grantham will be desperate for a win to boost their survival hopes.

Several other NPL clubs are in county cup action this week.
