Aaron Hooton had given the Millers the lead on 17 minutes when he headed home Kameron Campbell's cross and the Millers looked much the better side for the first half-hour. But the Ravens came back into the game and levelled a minute before half-time when Ben Saunders flicked past Jonathon Viscosi.
Ben Flynn hit the bar early in the second half for Carlton and the game was evenly poised until Sam Saunders put the visitors into the lead on 78 minutes when he knocked home a Cameron Stuart free-kick at the back post.
