Wire win legal aid

Warrington Town's commercial department have struck gold again after securing a major cash boost from a local law firm.

The Wire announced a £1000 sponsorship deal on Friday with QualitySolicitors Forshaws Davies Ridgway who've been working with the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club for five years already as Warrington's solicitors.

Club Chairman Gary Skentelbery said: "We are naturally delighted that FDR have agreed to continue their sponsorship as Vice Presidents of our club. The support of the local business community is a vital lifeline as we bid to move the club forward.

"We have invested time and money in improving our sponsors’ facilities which are now amongst the best in the league. As well as enjoying football our Vice Presidents also have great networking opportunities and many have already forged lasting business partnerships as a direct result of meeting up at a match."

Regulars to the Wire's ground this season may have already noticed changes to FDR's pitch-side banner which has changed from a blue logo to the distinctive pink and black branding of the national QualitySolicitors network.

FDR Partner Tim Jordan, pictured left alongside Warrington's Chairman, is hoping the company's latest business support off the pitch will help the Wire's players to kick start a successful season on the pitch.

He said: "Forshaws Davies Ridgway has recently joined the rapidly expanding national network of 220 QualitySolicitors firms. Our Commercial department will continue to be active as FDR, but all our legal services for individuals such as litigation, personal injury, family, criminal, wills, probate and conveyancing are now being delivered by the firm’s existing lawyers under the QualitySolicitors banner.
