Bootle move to bolster backline

Towering defender Tom Moore has become Bootle's latest summer signing.

Moore proved to be an imposing figure in the heart of the Runcorn Linnets backline last season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.

However, it was confirmed last month that the 6'5 defender would be leaving the club to take up a new opportunity elsewhere.

Prior to his time at Linnets, Moore spent time in Welsh football with Connah's Quay Nomads, where he enjoyed UEFA Europa Conference League experience in the early qualifying rounds.

Bootle have already made a number of new signings this summer, including striker Ben Hodkinson and midfielders Andy Scarisbrick and Mason Fawns.

They are also in the process of negotiating deals for several members of their existing squad.
